Restaurant Trattoria Il Tipi Tipici in Molina… After the appetizer due prosecci per favore the question arises… Where should we go for dinner? We don’t need to think about it. The answer to this question we answered during checkout since our last visit in June 2016: tonight we’ll have dinner in Il Tipi Tipici in Molina. This restaurant will be our second trattoria after Il Trattoria del Fagiano of this short stay.
From Torno 10 minutes drive by car towards Bellagio. Turn right and follow the winding lane uphill… The village of Molina does not immediately appeal to imagination: no view of Lake Como, no beautiful villas or no boats. We really don’t care, we’re just hungry! The Fiat is parked on the roadside because parking in the village square, no possibile.
Molina is somewhat enclosed in the mountains and cooling down. Although the terrace looks nice, we opt for a table inside. Lots of people tonight! We start with a plate of meat specialties that includes a basket of ‘fried doughnut’ bread. Hearty food, but our are still craving for pizza prosciutto from the wood oven for il signore and for scaloppine al limone for la signora. Sounds delicious isn’t it? Sounds delicious isn’t it?
In the dark we go back to the car. The more steps we have to take, the better: wine can evaporate a bit… sssssssst, don’t say anything!
