After some texting back and forth, our blind date is arranged. We meet in the Parco Teresio Olivelli in Tremezzo. At the first Aperol the sun is still shining brightly on our faces. The sun goes to sleep on the last lap. So you can guess… it was a nice, pleasant and interesting chat!
Yes, maybe just a little side jump to “interesting”. We make no secret of it. With every Aperol Spritz in which the sun shines, with every view where the azure blue Lake Como colors the landscape, with every cordial ciao or salve from a passer-by or with every flavor bomb from the Italian kitchen, we sometimes muse… How fantastic it must be to be here to live, and yes even to work?
But is this reality? Probably not all along the line… You just have to ask us, or Sonja. Dreams are always a bit of a deception in reality. But certainly not on this blog!
Back to our sunny evening in Tremezzo. Our questions follow each other at a rapid pace. Where can we, where would you, where can we find, what do you know, … And yes, Sonja has not stolen the name of her company: one hundred percent Lake Como Assistance! We talk endlessly…

Sonja’s husband Dario works as a chef at Albergo Lenno today. She promises us to book a table with her husband the next sunny evening. This way we can taste his culinary indulgence on the one hand and also get acquainted. Sounds like music to our ears of course!
What a nice evening! Enormously enriching to meet local and friendly people for us. When do we see each other again? Not immediately at the local notary: we are missing some zero numbers in the bank account for that. See you at another aperitif?
