Tavernola

Tavernola is a small and fairly unremarkable village on Lake Como. It is somewhat tucked away from the main road and often goes unnoticed. You can recognize Tavernola by the large boathouse where the ferry boats are maintained.

Lenno is located just behind the peninsula where Villa del Balbianello stands. The bay of Lenno, with its charming promenade, is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful on Lake Como. In the summer, pleasure boats come and go, and la vita è bella in Lenno, just ask the fortunate residents.

Torno

The small town of Torno has always had a strong charm: authentic, peaceful, and almost car-free. Beloved by tourists. The picturesque little square is, in our opinion, the most beautiful on Lake Como. Nothing more than a small harbor and a village café, where only the ferry stirs those dozing off.

Laglio

Laglio is truly much more than George Clooney’s holiday spot. The charming village lies on the shores of Lake Como, away from the busy Statale. Beautiful villas and elegant buildings give Laglio a touch of finesse. Stroll through the small streets and enjoy.

Carate Urio

Carate Urio was formed by merging the villages of Carate and Urio and is bordered by Moltrasio and Laglio. The town climbs up the hillside, offering a beautiful view of Lake Como. You can enjoy beautiful walks there or simply stroll leisurely through the streets.

Bellagio

With its nickname, the “Pearl of Lake Como,” Bellagio sets high expectations. This small, charming town sits right at the tip of the Y-shaped Lake Como, splitting the lake into two branches. Bellagio is an absolute tourist hotspot.

Argegno is a lively town on Lake Como, serving as one of the main midpoints between Como and Menaggio. You’ll find plenty of restaurants, bars, and a lively atmosphere there. Argegno is therefore a popular spot for tourists. The many new housing developments around the town show that Argegno is expanding rapidly.

Brunate

Brunate is often described as the balcony of the Alps, offering stunning views of Lake Como. If you’re looking for a breathtaking panorama, Brunate is without a doubt your best option. A little train takes you up to Brunate in just six minutes, and on a clear day, you can even see Milan. Be sure to also visit the Faro Voltiano (Volta Lighthouse).
